PromoPilot uses Google Analytics only if you allow analytics.
What it covers, once allowed
- The pages you visit on our website and in the app. Inside the app we send the type of page (for example the content calendar), never its title.
- Steps you take: signing up, logging in, finishing onboarding, creating a brand, connecting a social account, creating a post or an MCP key, and each MCP tool your AI assistant calls (the tool name, whether it worked and how long it took, never what you asked or what it returned).
- Google knows you by a code, never your name or email. Google signals and ad personalisation are off.
Changing your choice
- Go to Settings > Preferences.
- Under Privacy, switch Usage analytics on or off. It saves straight away.
You can also use the cookie banner: Cookie settings at the foot of every public page, or All cookie choices under Settings > Preferences > Privacy. On a phone the banner is a one-line bar at the bottom of the page; Choose opens all the choices.
Your choice is saved on your account, so it applies on every browser you sign in on and to the MCP server. Switched off, nothing about you is sent to Google Analytics and its cookies are deleted.
Marketing cookies (Meta pixel)
When PromoPilot runs its Meta pixel, the cookie banner also has a Marketing switch. The pixel tells us which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring visitors and sign-ups. It runs only on our public pages (home, use cases, pricing, sign-up) and the first page after signing up, and only if you switch Marketing on or choose Accept all. It starts off, and Essential only keeps it off.
This choice is kept in the browser you make it in, not on your account. Switched off, the pixel stops and its cookies (_fbp, _fbc) are deleted.
