Connect Your Own S3 Bucket

Use your own AWS S3 for storage

For full control over your media files, connect your own AWS S3 bucket:

  1. Go to Settings > Storage.
  2. Under Amazon S3 connection, enter your Access key ID, Secret access key, Bucket name and Region.
  3. Optionally add a custom domain (e.g. a CloudFront URL).
  4. Click Test connection to check the settings.
  5. Click Save and connect.
  6. Under Where new uploads go, choose Your own Amazon S3 and click Save storage choice.

Moving Existing Files

When you change where new uploads go, tick Move my existing files too to move your existing files to the new storage. The move runs in the background, you can follow its progress, and we email you when it is done. Leave it unticked to keep existing files where they are.

Important: Make sure your S3 bucket has the correct CORS and permissions configured. PromoPilot needs PutObject and GetObject permissions.
