A broadcast is a one-off email, like a newsletter or an announcement. Open CRM > Contacts and choose Email broadcasts, or select contacts and choose Email in the bar at the bottom.
Choose who gets it
- All contacts with an email address
- Contacts with one or more tags
- The contacts you selected on the Contacts page
- Or your shop customers
Before you send, the form shows how many people will get it and who is left out: no email address, marked do not disturb or do not email, or unsubscribed.
Write and send
Personalise with {{ contact.first_name }}, {{ contact.name }} or {{ brand.name }}. Send now or schedule it; a scheduled broadcast can be cancelled until it starts. You need a verified sending domain (Brand > Email Domains).
Permission and unsubscribes
For CRM contacts you confirm that everyone agreed to receive marketing email from you, which the law requires. PromoPilot records who confirmed and when. Every email ends with your brand name and an unsubscribe link, and supports one-click unsubscribe in Gmail and Yahoo. People who unsubscribe are marked do not email, so playbook emails stop too.
Daily sending limit
A new sending domain builds its reputation gradually: 500 emails on day one, rising each day to 50,000 a day on day 7. Broadcasts and playbook emails share that allowance. If an audience is bigger than what is left today, narrow it with a tag or schedule it for a later day.
Results
Each sent broadcast shows how many people it reached and how many opened and clicked. Some email apps block the images that count opens, so the real open rate is usually higher. If a broadcast fails before reaching anyone, open it and choose Edit and try again.
