Every brand has its own notification bell, so you choose which brands tell you when someone sends an Instagram message, a Facebook message or an email, or comments on one of your posts.
Where to find it
- The bell at the top of the Inbox (CRM > Inbox) sets it for the brand you are in.
- Settings > Inbox Notifications, or the cog in the Notifications panel, shows a bell for every brand.
What you can choose
- On or off for each brand. Off keeps your choices, so turning it back on restores them.
- Notify me about Instagram messages, Facebook messages, emails and comments on your posts.
- How: in PromoPilot (the Notifications panel), by email, and pop-ups on this device while PromoPilot is open in your browser.
- Which conversations, when teammates share the inbox: all new messages; unassigned conversations and ones assigned to you; or only the ones assigned to you. The brand owner starts on unassigned conversations and their own, a teammate on their own.
Answering from a notification
Click a notification, in PromoPilot or in the email, and the conversation opens with the reply box ready. If it belongs to another of your brands, PromoPilot switches to that brand first. For a comment, the reply box is set to reply publicly to that comment.
Fewer interruptions
- Several messages in one conversation show as one notification, for example "3 new messages from Jane", and comments on one post show as one, for example "12 new comments on your Instagram post".
- You get one email per conversation, or per post for comments, until it is read or things have been quiet for 30 minutes.
- Opening a conversation clears its notification, and your own replies to comments do not come back as new comments.
Comments on your posts land in the inbox for every brand. Someone who can no longer read a brand's inbox is never notified about it.
