The Content Calendar shows how far ahead each brand is planned: the day your last scheduled post goes out, and when a brand has more than one connected channel, the days left on each channel. The bar turns amber when you are running low and red when nothing is waiting to go out.
To get an alert, click Alert me when it runs low on the calendar and choose:
- How far ahead you want to stay planned, from 1 to 30 days.
- What to watch: all channels together, or channels one by one (for example, tell me when LinkedIn runs low even if Instagram still has posts).
- Email: whether to get an email as well as the notification in PromoPilot.
Days are calendar days in the brand's timezone: planned through Thursday is 3 days ahead on a Monday. PromoPilot checks every hour from 8am to 8pm in the brand's timezone (set it under Brand & Accounts), so nobody is woken by an alert.
When the calendar drops under your line, everyone who can schedule posts for the brand gets one alert, and one more if it then runs empty. Once you schedule enough to get back above the line, the next drop alerts again. The alert also says how many items in your Content Library are ready to schedule, and clicking it opens the calendar of the right brand.
The alert is set per brand. Anyone who can see the calendar sees how far ahead it is planned; the people who can schedule the brand's posts get the alert and can change it. Developers can read and change it through the API at /api/v1/scheduling/runway/.
