Many businesses run every brand's ads from one Meta ad account or one Google Ads account and connect it to each brand. PromoPilot works out which campaigns belong to which brand, so Ads > Campaigns, ROAS and the weekly ad digest show each brand only its own.
How a campaign is matched to a brand
- Your choice, if you showed or hid the campaign in this brand.
- Who the ads run as (Meta): a campaign whose ads post as one of the brand's connected Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts is the brand's. One that runs as another brand's Page belongs to that brand.
- Where it was made in PromoPilot: a promoted post, a Create Ad ad, a campaign authored or opened in Ads > Campaigns, or a YouTube promotion.
- Anything else is not matched. It shows when no other brand has connected the same account, and stays out of the brand's list when one has.
PromoPilot reads who the ads run as during the 30-minute Meta sync, so a brand-new campaign shows until it has been checked. Connect the brand's Facebook Page and Instagram account under Brand & Accounts so the match can work; a brand with no Page connected keeps seeing every campaign in the account.
This brand or the whole ad account
On Ads > Campaigns, This brand and Whole ad account switch between the brand's campaigns and every campaign in the account. The switch appears only when the account holds campaigns that are not this brand's. In Whole ad account each campaign says which brand it belongs to and why, with Show in this brand or Hide from this brand. Your choice affects only this brand, and Use the automatic match undoes it. ROAS and the weekly ad digest count only the brand's own campaigns. Nothing is changed on Meta or Google.
From the API and the MCP server
GET /api/v1/ads/campaigns/, /api/v1/ads/insights/, /api/v1/google-ads/campaigns/ and /api/v1/google-ads/report/ take scope=brand (the default) or scope=account, and each campaign row carries brand and brand_choice. POST /api/v1/ads/campaigns/<id>/brand/ and POST /api/v1/google-ads/campaigns/<id>/brand/ with choice show, hide or auto set the choice. On the MCP server, list_campaigns, list_google_ads_campaigns and get_google_ads_report take scope, and set_campaign_brand sets the choice.
