When you create a new product from the Commerce products page, PromoPilot now offers an AI option alongside the standard manual form. Click + New Product, then pick Create with PromoPilot AI from the modal to open the AI intake step.
What you give the AI
- Digital file - a PDF that will become the customer-facing download for the product.
- Cover image (optional) - any standard image format (PNG, JPG, WebP) to use as the product thumbnail.
- Hint - a short free-text description of what the product is, who it is for, and any selling points you want the copy to emphasise.
What the AI drafts
Claude (Anthropic Opus) reads the hint and the file, and drafts a product name, a short description, a long description, and a suggested price. Every field lands pre-filled in the normal product create form, so you can review, rewrite, or tweak anything before saving. The suggested price is only a suggestion - change it to whatever makes sense for your offer before you save.
Each AI draft costs 5 credits. The feature is gated behind ai_product_generate: disabled on the Free tier, available on paid tiers, and staff / superusers bypass the credit check. Nothing is saved or published until you hit Save on the create form.
