Team members and brand access

Invite people into your brands and choose exactly what each of them can do

Teams let you share a brand with other people without handing over your account. Open Team in the user menu, or go straight to /user/account/team/. From there you invite people, set what each of them can reach, and see an activity log of every change.

Roles

  • Owner - the account holder. The role is implicit, it cannot be removed, and the owner is the only one who touches billing.
  • Admin - can invite people and manage members, and works on every brand in the team, including brands added later. An admin cannot touch billing, delete brands, or create other admins. Only the owner can make someone an admin.
  • Member - sees only the brands they were given, at the level they were given.

Levels, per brand

  • Viewer - can look, cannot change anything.
  • Editor (the default) - the daily work plus AI, but not publishing, exporting, importing, deleting, or assigning work to other people.
  • Manager - everything on that brand except billing and deleting the brand.

Under Advanced on the access panel, toggles fine-tune a level for one person. Each toggle is three-way: use the preset, always allow, or never allow. The ones that change something today are AI credits, assign work, sensitive data (CRM import, export, delete and API keys) and publishing (turning playbooks on and letting them message people). The rest cover areas that are not open to team members yet.

What a member can use today

Team members can work in CRM, Inbox, Pipelines and playbook drafts on the brands they were given.

The calendar and scheduling, the media library, social accounts, campaigns and the creative studio, ads, automations, tracked links and sites are not open to team members yet. Those pages say the area is not available to team members yet and point at the brand owner. Areas are being opened up one at a time.

Turning a playbook on needs the Manager level, because an active playbook messages people and spends credits. Building and editing a playbook draft only needs Editor.

Invitations

  • Invitations are emailed, and the link works once.
  • A link expires after 7 days.
  • Resending issues a new link and the old one stops working straight away.
  • The link cannot be copied or shown again, because only a hash of it is stored.
  • If the invited person is already signed in with the address you invited, the invitation also appears on their own Team page, so they can accept without opening the email.

Who pays for AI

A member never spends their own credits. On a brand that has its own plan they spend that plan's credits; on a brand without one they spend the owner's credits. The owner can set a monthly credit cap per person per brand, so one person cannot use up the whole allowance. When a member runs out, an ask-the-owner button emails and notifies the owner (at most once an hour per brand).

Members never see billing, invoices, or any of the owner's other brands. They see only the brands shared with them.

Removing someone

Removal takes effect immediately. Everything they made stays with the brand, because it is the brand's work. What goes is anything that would let them keep acting:

  • their access to every brand in the team
  • any API keys or MCP keys they created for those brands, switched off
  • any playbooks they turned on, paused
  • contacts, conversations and deals still assigned to them, released

Suspending blocks someone the same way but keeps their grants, so you can reinstate them later.

Seats

How many people you can have comes from your plan. A pending invitation holds a seat until it is accepted, revoked, or expires.
